MANUFACTURING'S FUTURE

The Blueprint for
Manufacturing AI

The future of manufacturing is being redefined with smarter systems, seamless automation, and unprecedented efficiency.

What you can expect from Workr
Portrait
We are a global team of manufacturing and automation veterans, with 20+ years of experience on the front lines of some of the biggest brands in manufacturing. We’ve seen first-hand how the limitations of traditional automation stymie manufacturers’ ability to grow, and frustrate workers’ desire to do more. We are also successful founders and startup veterans focused on solving real problems over making something that’s cool for its own sake.
What you can expect from me:
I'm a Creative strategist and visual designer based in Paris, crafting bold and engaging digital experiences. With a keen eye for aesthetics and a strategic mindset, I blend creativity with functionality to bring ideas to life. Let’s create something remarkable together.

Manufacturing's Future:
AI Powered Automation

Manufacturing is at a turning point. With a growing labor shortage and the U.S. lagging in automation adoption, the industry faces a critical challenge.

Traditional robotics are too rigid for high-mix, low-volume environments, making automation difficult to justify. But advancements in software, computer vision, and machine learning are changing what’s possible.

The key to the future isn’t just more robots—it’s making them truly adaptable and accessible for any job, in any facility.

To accelerate the future of American manufacturing by making robotic automation easy and accessible for any job in any facility.

The Present

American manufacturing is stuck in 10th place in terms of automation, thanks to justifiable resistance to complex, risky solutions.

The Solution

Our industry is facing 3 critical problems

Too Many Jobs Are Too Small To Automate

Until robots can learn a new part as fast (or faster) than a human, their usefulness to HMLV fabs is limited. Short-run jobs need tools that can be used immediately, not 5 weeks from now.

Deployment Complexity

System Integrators are overbooked, and robots can take weeks to program. Reducing the time it takes to train a robot will shorten lead times for new deployments, and free up manufacturers to retrain robots as needed, without waiting for an SI to be available.

Labor is at a Premium

Labor shortages will persist, and skilled manufacturing labor (e.g. machinists) will become even harder to access. Robots must be equipped to magnify the impact of the human workforce.

These problems won’t be beaten with hardware innovation, but with software. The fundamental truth that underlies all three of these issues is that robots are hard to use, but Manufacturing AI is here to make a difference.

01

tick

Easy to Train

A Workr-enabled arm can learn to pick a new piece in 5 minutes or less, without specialized fixturing. Once trained, the arm can reliably pick from an unstructured bench or bin, feed raw stock into a CNC machine, and place finished goods into totes or onto belts.

02

Incredibly Simple to Use

Workr-enabled arms are trained using a guided process on a tablet. No programming is needed, and no engineering expertise is required. Anyone with 5 minutes can train a robot arm to flawlessly execute a new task.

03

Hardware Agnostic

Workr can be installed on any robot arm, at any time. Fabs with idle robots can return their arms to work. Shops can maximize robot utilization. System Integrators can shorten deployment times and book more business.

04

A Staff Multiplier

One staff member can supervise up to 10 Workr-enabled robots. Machinists are freed up to focus on the high-skill parts of their jobs, and can produce more finished parts up to 3 times faster.

What’s Next

Our vision is of a world in which industrial robots are as simple and quick to use as any other tool in a machinist’s or operator’s kit. Where manufacturers can stop worrying about labor shortages and ROI, and focus instead on growing their business. Where workers can focus on the complex, creative, and intellectually engaging parts of their job while robots handle the rest. Where no job is too small to automate.

Join us for a faster, more automated future.
